Pisces, with a little bit of Sun and Moon I suppose. It tends to fit me pretty well, although it says I am "Artsy" and I more prefer the sciences...although that can be considered and expressionistic field also!

i'm november 21st scorpio. so i always made that count for scorpio and saggitarius.
not that i believe in it. the people that write those tailor them so they can be broad enough to fit almost everyone. and the one or two people that it doesn't fit get overwhelmed by the sheep.
if it says "you will have a good day today" then you will be thinking in the mindset of having a good day. That would make you a happier person and then you would have a good day.
most people that read those will try to do anything they can to make them come true anyway. i know that is true for me whenever i read them. i like to think of them as wordy fortune cookies. but without the tasty outside.
november 21st is definitely the coolest birthday EVER.

Libra. Scales of balance, or something.
Course, that's all supposition since my birthday is made up.
But it does kind of fit me...in the way that most personality things can be made to broadly fit many people...

Solar Leo
---------
There's an unmistakably regal air to Solar Leos. These are dignified—even noble—folk. Leos have a reputation for being conceited, but think again. Leos do feel important, but this generally takes the form of wanting to change the world in some way—to make the world a better place. They are generally motivated by affection for people, and often have big dreams and plans to make people happy.
Generally, Leos are hard-working. After all, they are attracted to the good things in life, and they know they have to work to get them. It is sometimes difficult to imagine Leos as go-getters if you happen to catch them in one of their languid moods. These people can sleep in, laze around, and luxuriate for long periods of time. However, when they do get to work, they do it with intensity and determination. In this way, they are not unlike their symbol, the lion.
The worst thing you can do to a Leo is accuse them of bad intentions. Displaying behavior that makes them think you don't appreciate them runs a close second. These happy, jovial people become mighty hurt when others don't see them for their noble intentions.
Loyal, and sometimes rather traditional, Leos are, after all, a fixed sign. They'll hold on to situations and people for a very long time before they give up. There is an unmistakable idealism to Leo's view of the world and the people in it. Often, Leos have a very noble inner code that they answer to. Although on the surface, Leos appear rather confident, they can actually be some of the most humble souls around. They are the first to blame themselves when something goes wrong. Once again, it's the Leonine self-importance at work, and this characteristic works in unexpected ways. Instead of being the conceited, self-absorbed show-offs of reputation, they are usually very self-aware, self-conscious, and, yes, even humble.

RE: Those who have replied how their sign describes them very aptly.
I think you'll all the star signs descibe you, thats the beauty of them, they're so vague they apply to everyone!

On the Native American medicine wheel, I was born under Freeze Up Moon, which puts me in the realm of the Snake. Which actually came as no real surprise.

Until someone can convince me that burning rocks that are hundreds and thousands of years away somehow determine your personality, I'm not exactly intrigued by "Star Signs".
And if you must know, I guess my March 4th birthday puts me in the "Pieces" category.

Actually, that shouldn't get you intrigued in astrology, since astrology has nothing at all whatsoever to do with "burning rocks", or stars for that matter (save in the pre-modern sense, when we called planets "wandering stars" -- "stars" in the modern sense of the word play no role in astrology, which concerns itself with the positions of the planets within 30 degree arcs of the ecliptic).
Also, astrology was thought to indicate things, not determine them. I don't believe the hands of my clock cause the sun to rise at a particular time, but I still believe I gain information about how soon until the sun rises by looking at them. People thought they could tell when to plant their crops and eventually all kinds of other things by looking at the positions of things in the sky. The sky was the Great Cosmic Clock, and once you notice one of the spining "hands" of this clock does indeed tell you the best time to plant your crops, and you notice there are a bunch of other "hands", it makes sense to try to determine what they're telling you.
Of course, the whole theory is shot to hell when you reject intelligent design for the whole system, but prior to that, it was quite logical to expect that the movements of the planets must indicate something, or otherwise why would the creator have put them there? When you see a clock with seven hands, and you determine that two indicate something useful, it seems illogical to then expect the other five to be meaningless. The creator must have had some purpose for them.

Dream. You rock. =)
Basically, I perfer using signs and whatnot for certian things in my life since most people do fit into whatever they are born in, even if they don't see it themselves, others will.
Like my first post, I'm a pretty hardcore peices, its almost on the dot.
=) Next year is Year Of The Dog! (w00t!)
Quote:
1922, 1934, 1946, 1958, 1970, 1982, 1994, 2006
People born in the Year of the Dog possess the best traits of human nature. They have a deep sense of loyalty, are honest, and inspire other people's confidence because they know how to keep secrets. But Dog People are somewhat selfish, terribly stubborn, and eccentric. They care little for wealth, yet somehow always seem to have money. They can be cold emotionally and sometimes distant at parties. They can find fault with many things and are noted for their sharp tongues. Dog people make good leaders. They are compatible with those born in the Years of the Horse, Tiger, and Rabbit.
|
That was taken from here. A website thats been around for years. Nifty place.
I'm honest and loyal. I can always keep a secret. And oh boy, I'm stubborn. =) Not sure about selfish, since I most often give a lot of things away that I own or lend (give) money to friends when we are out. Eccentric oh so very true. I'm so far out into left field I hold a tea party with the gnomes who live under third base.
Money wise, yes, I'm always broke, but I always do have money. Sure, I have debts, mainly because well, what good is money if you cant spend it? However, since I tend to be busy often enough, I can't go and spend all of it, thus I always have some laying around.
I'm not cold, or too distant at parties. Most of the time I'm too shy to talk to a lot of people, but soon as I hook onto a couple, as they go around and meet people, I'll talk to them as well. (Not one of those go up to meet and greet people.)
Finding faults in things is my second nature. Most of the time I won't ever say something unless I'm pretty positive that it is the correct thing to say, write, or do. I don't like being faulty.
I'll snap at people if I find something they've done really stupid. (If there was a better solution or possibley even the answer already infront of them, good example.) I try to be on a happy side all the time, not too often I can be taken down enough to ahem... "bark" at a person.
=) Damn right I can lead. Someone has to make sure theres no problems in these Guild Wars parties.
As for the Horse, Tiger, Rabbit, I don't know if I've met any really, so I don't know if I'll get along with them yet. LoL.
(All of the above is just me pointing out that even if it might not fit you, they do fit some people. I know others are the same as well, for example, PD is born in the year of the Pig, I find she fits into that area pretty well.)
I'm just going to say, if your not going to post something nice. Just don't post. This is a thread mainly here for anyone who could be interested in things like this or have positive comments. =)
Thanks!

Don't forget, when looking at a Chinese calendar, that their New Year does not fall in January. Hence, if your birthday is before March, you will want to read the description for the year previous.
